ClearScholar Selects Early Adopter Partner Institutions
INDIANAPOLIS — May 25, 2017 — ClearScholar, a leading student safety and engagement technology company, has selected its Early Adopter Partners which includes eight institutions who plan to launch ClearScholar’s Engage Platform in the coming academic year. This group of eligible Early Adopter Program participants includes Ivy Tech Community College along with a diverse group of institutions. Sixty institutions were initially under consideration and recently ClearScholar announced it had narrowed down to fifteen finalists.
Jeff Fanter, Senior Vice President of Student Experience, Communications, and Marketing at Ivy Tech Community College shared his sentiment, “We are always eager to evaluate new technologies that help us best connect and engage with our diverse student body at Ivy Tech Community College. We have been impressed with the ClearScholar platform and the ability it has to make data more actionable, ultimately driving students to engage deeper with both academics and additional resources that are offered.” IvyTech recently received recognition for their data system which has been named NewT.
ClearScholar fully launched at Butler University in January of this year. The company plans to implement the ClearScholar Engage platform at additional Early Adopter Program institutions this summer and in the coming school year. Formal scoping processes are currently underway to solidify details of these partnerships, and additional Early Adopter institutions will be announced in the coming weeks.
This announcement follows the launch of a campus security platform, ClearScholar Aware. ClearScholar Aware provides institutions with additional visibility into emergency calls made through the student-facing ClearScholar mobile application through both a real-time, dispatch center dashboard and officer-facing mobile application.
