ClearScholar Announces New Castle School of Trades and North American Trade Schools As New Partner Institutions
INDIANAPOLIS March 13, 2018 – ClearScholar, a leading mobile student safety and engagement solution, announced that New Castle School of Trades (NCST) and North American Trade Schools (NATS) are utilizing its platform to attract new students and create deeper connections with prospective and current students.
“As a former college president, I was constantly challenged in finding effective ways to connect with our students at the right time and in a personalized/meaningful way. Many of these experiences went into the development of the ClearScholar platform, and we’re thrilled to see how NCST and NATS utilize our technology both in enrollment management and with current students. They are known for implementing innovative ideas to help students through their journey, and we’re proud to call them a partner,” said Jason Konesco, CEO of ClearScholar.
As prospective and current students continue to increase their use and adoption of mobile devices, a native mobile app will allow NCST and NATS to better communicate and connect with their target market and current student base. The ClearScholar Admin Portal allows NCST and NATS to easily add new and manage existing content, send updates, and engage students, while ClearScholar Align allows the content to be targeted to prospective students, current students, or all users. Furthermore, the unique configuration features of the ClearScholar Admin Portal allow NCST to quickly customize the app experience without additional costs or services.
“Working with ClearScholar has been an immensely easy and productive process. Their entire team has been more than willing to achieve our specific needs for our school and students. The ongoing support, even after our apps have launched, is second to none,” said A.J. Minotti, Director of Digital Marketing at New Castle School of Trades.
ClearScholar first launched its student engagement and safety platform at Butler University with the white-labeled Butler App. The student engagement platform provides institutions the ability to improve upon the sense of belonging, student communication, career readiness, student safety, resource utilization and student health through leveraging a student-facing mobile application. Of surveyed students, over 95% have expressed liking the mobile app, while some partner institutions have reported over 90% of surveyed students feeling more connected to campus life.
ClearScholar is a student safety and engagement platform that connects students and institutions to build, retain and grow lifelong relationships. ClearScholar delivers a personalized, mobile student experience that includes a mobile student ID and curated events, news and activities that align with their specific interests and needs. Administrators have access to a platform to encourage student engagement and drive student outcomes as well as enhance campus security. About New Castle School of Trades
The New Castle School of Trades was founded in 1945 and has become a multipurpose technical and trade institution. Over the years, the school has moved from the era of educating competent tradesmen, through the phase of the more sophisticated and innovative craftsman, to today’s highly skilled technicians. In July of 2011, the school moved eight of the ten programs to a new facility, including Automotive Technology, Electrical Technology, Building Technology, Refrigeration & A/C Technology, Machinist Technology, Combination Welding, Industrial Maintenance, and Construction Trades. Commercial Truck Driving, Heavy Equipment Operations with Commercial Truck Driving, and Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology remained at the old school, which is now the Satellite Location. NCST has since added Motorcycle & Power Equipment Technology to the programs offered at the Satellite Location, and Industrial Maintenance with Wind and Solar Technology has been added at the main campus. In 2016, the school opened a branch campus in East Liverpool, Ohio offering Combination Welding, Industrial Maintenance, Refrigeration & Climate Control, and Commercial Truck Driving.
